Karkoll is one of the Molg tribe originating in the Howling Islands.

He is a key member of Gorig's crew mostly because he knows most everything about the large scorpions the Molg use when hunting dragons. He is charge of keeping it working, selecting and training the crew, and in action, aiming and firing the lethal device.  Gorig trusts him enough he even allows Karkoll to choose the perfect moment to fire and will listen to any tactical advice given regarding these formidable weapons.

He is quite the smoker too, seldom seen without a pipe in his mouth or stuffed into his waistbelt. He is always looking for new flavors of tobacco or other smokeable plants.
