Akris is very intelligent and well-spoken. His normally basic appearance can lead to him being dismissed by most, but usually he is underestimated at their peril.

Akris tends to be quiet and listens far more than he speaks unless he knows someone very well.

- Akris knows several area dialects. A product of his Sand Devil Training

- Akris can read and write easily. Also his Training

- Akris has studied a form of unarmed combat called "The Sandstorm." This style emphasizes swirling arm and fist strikes and blocks. The legs are employed for finishing kicks that put opponents down when the time is right.

- Akris has studied a form of melee combat with hand weapons. This style is called "The Scorpion" It does not emphasize a style of weapon, but the employment of any bladed weapon to it's best limit to protect oneself and eliminate enemies.

- Akris carries a horseman's bow and arrows on his mount. He is no expert but his Order training makes him able to hit a man sized target out to the limit of the bow itself.

- Akris also carries an assortment of thrown weapons, trained in the art by his Order. These weapons can be more of a distraction to enemies but with the right weapon, killing blows are possible.

"The Way of Sand" - His Order taught him one ability. With this Akris can transform himself into a form of sand...not a human shape of sand, but more like a cloud. This can be used to camouflage himself...survive long drops...transport himself up for short distances, and pass through narrow spaces like keyholes and the gaps around or under heavy doors. Anything he is wearing or carrying or holding is also transformed but anything beyond a certain amount on him or in his hands causes more effort for him. Using the ability too much in a certain amount of time can also exhaust him.
